Skill-based education needs emphasis in today’s fast-paced competitive world where it has grown into a vital requirement. Anurodh Nepal has taken a leading role to advance student skill development by playing a vital role in the “Skills in Education” program in collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) and Glocal. Through its focus on practical skills training for young students Anurodh Nepal has transformed the educational approach to better prepare students to tackle real-world challenges with confidence and adaptability.

The “Skills in Education” Initiative

Through its work with Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), Anurodh Nepal acts as a primary leader for the execution of skill-based education courses. The initiative made a structured curriculum containing 10 skill-based courses introduced in different schools across Kathmandu. Students can learn about Mobile and Electronics; House Wiring; Culinary Arts; Carpentry and Wood Carving; Sketching and Sculpture and Fashion Design and Clothing Construction; Indigenous and Contemporary Masonry and Plumbing courses. 

Anurodh Nepal served to implement these practical courses which allowed students to gain real-world skills from various vocational areas. Anurodh Nepal directed its strategic efforts to deliver industry-relevant training and fostered a learning environment where students can develop both technical and soft skills.

Driving Change Through Practical Learning

Anurodh Nepal has not only contributed to curriculum delivery but has also played a key role in ensuring the effective execution of these courses. The students’ direct engagement with student-oriented activities enhanced the whole impact area of the program. By focusing on both technical and soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability, Anurodh Nepal has helped create a more holistic learning environment for students.

Bridging the Gap Between Education and Employment

The “Skills in Education” program has successfully bridged the gap between traditional education and industry demands. The program enabled participants to develop confidence, abilities to solve problems better and have more interest in pursuing job paths that match their new skills. The program provided students with innovative abilities to solve real-world problems which prepares them for their future professional careers.
